Porcelain Veneers Boise, Idaho Dental Makeovers
At Aesthetic Smiles, we believe everyone deserves to have a healthy, beautiful smile. Whether your teeth are crooked, chipped, stained, or misaligned, porcelain veneers can quickly and effectively fix many dental problems in just one procedure. Veneers are especially ideal for patients who are in need of braces but don’t want to go through years of orthodontic treatment. Porcelain veneers are ultra thin porcelain shells that are bonded or fused to the surface of the teeth.
Dr. Pilling then custom designs and shapes the veneers to compliment the rest of your teeth. The translucent porcelain absorbs and reflects light in the same way natural enamel does, providing beautiful, natural-looking results. Our porcelain veneers are as aesthetically pleasing as they are strong and durable. We work with the top dental labs in the country to produce the highest quality restorations that will ensure your smile is beautiful for years to come. Imagine, in just a little as two visits, Dr. Pilling can beautifully transform your smile into the smile of your dreams.

Freaquently Asked Questions About Veneers
What do veneers look and feel like?
-In our office Veneers are all done custom. Nothing is cookie cutter. Nothing looks fake. In fact we give the patients control over the design and color so that they can have teeth that look like they belong in your smile. They feel just like natural teeth. Nothing bulky or thick.
Do my teeth needed to be grinded on?
-That depends. Occaisionally a small amount of enamel needs to be removed to make room for the porcelain. Often we can do it with no removal of existing enamel. Each case is different and patients are given the options. If enamel removal is needed, we remove very little and replace it with porcelain that is strong, healthy, and beautiful. We are very conservative in our treatment and you are in good hands
How much do they cost?
-The costs depends on the degree of difficulty of each case as well as how many teeth are threated. If you have a budget let us know. We can often do smile makeovers that fit within a budget. To know exactly how much your smile would cost we recommend scheduling a free consultation where we can look at your individual smile and give you the cost to treat it. Do not go to the cheapest place in town. Doing high quality dentistry takes time and best materials and labs. These all factor into the cost of treatment. Much of the smile makeovers we do here at Aesthetic Smiles are redoing smiles that were done somewhere else. People often tell us they went there because of price and now they are having to pay more to have it fixed right by us. Getting your smile done RIGHT the first time is always the less cost in the long run
How long do they last?
-Nothing lasts forever. Even dentistry. But we want our veneers to last as long as possible. To ensure this we do a few things. First we make sure the veneers are made out of the strongest material available. Next, If you grind your teeth we make sure you have a protective night guard to prevent excess force on your teeth in your sleep. Also If you are prone to cavities then we make sure that you use certain tooth pastes that help remineralize teeth, fight cavities, and strengthen your veneers. We have found that identifying your risk factors and eliminating them that we can get longevity out of your veneers. We’ve seen veneers done 30 years ago going strong because they were done right. We tell people that Teeth are like tires. If you are nice to them then you can get lots of life out of them. But if you give them to your teenage son to race with, well then they may not last a long time. Bottom line is that we do veneers right and give you the right tools to make sure they last.
Do they hurt?
Not if done correctly. We rarely get complaints of any discomfort, and any discomfort we do get is minor and very short lived. Veneers done in our office are done conservatively so side effects are minimal to none.
